Job Summary
Emergency Medicine Physician needed for locum tenens in Lewiston, ME. Provide coverage in an ED with approximately 25,000 patient visits annually, including 18 psychiatric beds. Schedule includes double coverage 9:30am–12am and 9am–9pm with single coverage 12am–6:30am; no pediatric or OB/GYN patients. Paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel and housing expenses offered. Potential extension and future need opportunities. Weatherby Healthcare provides dedicated specialty consultants and 24-hour access to support; Charter member of NALTO. Assignment details documented in online portal.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Medical license to practice in the United States (eligible to practice in Maine)
