Job Summary
Emergency Medicine Physician needed for a Western North Dakota 25-bed hospital. Provides care for a wide range of acute ED cases with an approximate inpatient census of 8-15 patients daily; handles mild to complex emergencies and admissions typically 2-3 days. Works on 12-hour shifts across Full-Time/1099 Contractor and Travel-PRN arrangements, with block shifts and on-site APP coverage during peak hours. EMR is Meditech. Site emphasizes expedited credentialing and support from an administrative team. Requires current board certification in EM and 2 years of recent EM experience. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality acute care, coordinating with ICU/critical care services, and participating in credentialing and ongoing professional duties; compensation includes hourly base pay with quality bonuses, sign-on options, travel/lodging where applicable, and comprehensive benefits under certain contracts.
