Job Summary
Emergency Medicine Physician role with Independent Contractor 1099 status in California; 12-hour shifts with 6-7 physician shifts daily and 4 APP shifts daily, with scribes per physician. 100% RVU-based compensation, malpractice provided. Practice within a Regional Medical Center-level facility (Level III Trauma Center) offering 24/7 ultrasound, CT and MRI with 24/7 radiologist interpretation and intensivist support; strong subspecialty backup and transfers to pediatric and OB/GYN services, including higher-level transfers to USC Medical Center, UCLA Medical Center, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and Loma Linda University Medical Center. Leapfrog patient safety rating recognized in Fall 2023. Independent Emergency Physician Group expanding nationally; 35 ED beds with a separate fast track, and a physician lounge with meals provided. Location is in California with a single-site, on-site employment arrangement per the description.
