Job Summary
Emergency Medicine Physician staffing the Emergency Department in Houston, TX. Full-time or part-time positions available. Physicians must be board certified or eligible (ABEM/AOBEM) with ACLS/ATLS; 28,000 annual patient volume; APP coverage 16-18 hours daily; shifts 7a-7p and 7p-7a; 1099 status with malpractice tail; $270/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Eligible: ABEM or AOBEM certification/eligibility OR At least 2 years ER experience (OR 1-year EM Fellowship) plus ABIM/AOBIM, or ABFM/ABOFM certification/eligibility
- ACLS/ATLS Required
- 1099 Status with covered malpractice & tail
- 28K patients per year with 16-18 hours per day of APP coverage
- Physician Shift Times: 7a-7p and 7p-7a
- The ED is looking for full-time (12 shifts/month including 2 weekends) or part-time (6 shifts/month including 1 weekend) Physicians
- Hourly pay is $270/hour
