Job Summary
EMERGENCY MEDICINE PHYSICIAN opportunity with the U.S. Army health care team. Provide emergency medicine care to Soldiers and families, with access to advanced technology. Includes officer status, training to become a leader in the field, and robust benefits including signing bonus and retirement plans. Locations include Richmond, VA with worldwide positions available. Requires MD/DO, U.S. medical license, board eligibility, GME internship, and emergency medicine training. Eligible candidates are U.S. citizens aged 21-42.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy; foreign graduates may apply if they have a permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates
- Current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico
- Eligibility for board certification
- Completion of at least one year of an approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship
- Completion of a training program in emergency medicine
- U.S. citizenship
