Job Summary
Emergency Medicine Physician positions with the U.S. Army Reserve health care team. You will practice emergency medicine in your community and serve when called, caring for a diverse patient population including Soldiers and their families, with benefits such as loan repayment, health professional pay, continuing education, retirement and travel opportunities. Requirements include MD/DO from an accredited U.S. medical school, current U.S. license (DC/PR permitted), board eligibility, completion of a GME internship and an EM training program, permanent U.S. residency, and age 21–42. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy (foreign graduates may apply with permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates)
- Current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico
- Eligibility for board certification
- Completion of at least one year of an approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship
- Completion of a training program in emergency medicine
- Permanent U.S. residency
- Between 21 and 42 years of age
