Job Summary
Emergency Medicine Physician in the U.S. Army Medical Corps on the frontlines treating patients with immediate needs; opportunity to command a medical unit, contribute to staff functions in health support, participate in education and training of personnel, and engage in humanitarian missions. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy; foreign graduates may apply with permanent certificate from the ECFMG
- Current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico
- Eligibility for board certification
- Completion of at least one year of an approved graduate medical education internship
- U.S. citizenship
- Between 21 and 42 years of age (waivers on a case-by-case basis)
