Job Summary
Emergency Medicine Physician for the U.S. Army Medical Corps. On the frontline treating patients requiring immediate medical attention; may command a medical unit, conduct staff functions in health support, and participate in education and training of personnel. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited U.S. medical school or osteopathic school
- Current license to practice medicine in the United States (or DC/Puerto Rico)
- Eligibility for board certification
- Completion of at least one year of an approved graduate medical education internship
- U.S. citizenship
- Between ages 21 and 42 (waivers considered)
