Job Summary
Emergency Medicine Physician with the U.S. Army Medical Corps; frontline patient care for immediate medical needs, potential command of a medical unit, involvement in staff functions, education and training of personnel, and opportunities to participate in humanitarian missions, leadership development, and a competitive benefits package. Must hold an MD or DO from an accredited U.S. school and be licensed to practice in the United States, with board eligibility and completion of at least one year of GME internship; U.S. citizenship required.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy
- Current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico
- Eligibility for board certification
- Completion of at least one year of an approved graduate medical education internship
- Between 21 and 42 years of age (waivers granted on a case-by-case basis)
- U.S. citizenship
