Job Summary
Emergency Medicine Physician needed to staff Centra’s network of four Virginia ERs (Lynchburg General, Bedford Memorial, Gretna Medical Center, Southside Community) with board-certified or board-eligible physicians. Responsibilities include 10-hour shifts arranged in a waterfall staffing model, staffing across multiple sites, and participation in an active nocturnist program with options for days/evenings only and no scheduled call. The role supports a collegial, employed group with equitable scheduling, comprehensive orientation, and opportunities for teaching/study options.
