Job Summary
Staff four VA ERs as board-certified/board-eligible emergency physician in Centra Health network. Provide coverage across multiple hospitals with 10- and 12-hour shifts, no solo site coverage, and a collegial, employed group with equitable scheduling. Nocturnist program reduces night load; option to sign on for days/evenings only and no scheduled call. Work across diverse settings from busy community trauma centers to free-standing EDs. Enjoy a months-long orientation, teaching options, and opportunities for professional development. Required Qualifications
- Completion of medical degree and residency/fellowship training in emergency medicine
- MD/DO with certification by an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) board in physician's primary specialty. Must be board certified or in the process of certifying.
