Job Summary
Board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine physician sought to staff multiple ERs in central Virginia (Lynchburg, Farmville, Bedford, Gretna) with a collegial, employed group model. Roles include working across diverse settings from community trauma centers to freestanding EDs, with no solo site coverage, an orientation period, active nocturnist program, and scheduling options including days/evenings and guaranteed time off. Competitive compensation with sign-on bonus, up to $15k CME allowance, student loan repayment up to $120k, and relocation assistance up to $7,500. Training requirements include MD/DO with ABMS board certification (or in process) in emergency medicine; 10- to 12-hour shifts, acuity-based patient flow, and a focus on high-quality acute care and behavioral health integration.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of medical degree and residency/fellowship training in emergency medicine
- MD/DO with certification by an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) board in physician's primary specialty. Must be board certified or in the process of certifying.
