Job Summary
Staff a network of four emergency departments in central Virginia as Emergency Medicine Physicians. Board-certified or board-eligible physicians needed to work across Lynchburg General Hospital, Southside Community Hospital, Bedford Memorial Hospital, and Gretna Medical Center. The role features shifts (10-hour and 12-hour), no solo site coverage during orientation, active nocturnist program with the ability to sign on for days/evenings only, no scheduled call, guaranteed off time (up to 10 days/month), teaching options (not required), and a variety of settings from busy trauma centers to free-standing ERs. A collegial, employed group with equitable standing from day one, a months-long orientation, and a supportive practice environment are emphasized. Required Qualifications
- Completion of medical degree and residency/fellowship training in emergency medicine
- MD/DO with certification by an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) board in physician's primary specialty. Must be board certified or in the process of certifying.
