Job Summary
Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant staffing an Emergency Department at a 145-bed community hospital in Northeast Alabama (near Birmingham & Chattanooga) with 12-hour physician shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a) and 12-hour APP shifts (8a-8p & 1p-1a). Independent contractor arrangement at $90/hr. Program supports hospitalist coverage 24/7 and services including in-patient geri-psych (>65), general surgery, cardiology with cath, GI, nephrology, orthopedics, tele and in-house neurology. Requires active Alabama license or ability to obtain, BE/BC as PA or FNP, and ER experience of at least 2 years. EPIC EMR and M-Modal dictation used. Location: Alabama, US.
Required Qualifications
- Active Alabama license in the state or ability to attain unrestricted state license
- APP candidate must be PA or FNP BE/BC with at least 2 years of ER experience
