Job Summary
The Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant will provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department on a rotating schedule across BWH, Faulkner Hospital, and Brigham and Women’s Foxborough Urgent Care. Responsibilities include obtaining histories and performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting labs and tests, developing and executing plans of care, prescribing medications, and maintaining detailed documentation. The role requires collaborating under the supervision of an attending EM physician unless EM PA Independent Clinical Guidelines criteria are met (minimum EM experience with demonstrated clinical excellence). The position is on-site in Boston with a 36-hour nocturnal schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Physician Assistant
- Physician Assistant license (state license)
- ACLS
- BLS
