Emergency Medicine Physician

Provide 24-hour emergency medicine coverage in the Emergency Department at a Critical Access Hospital, managing observation patients, acute inpatient care, swing bed patients, trauma stabilization, and general hospital medicine. Utilize the Together Care (Epic) electronic medical record system for daily documentation and care coordination. This role includes approximately three 24-hour shifts per month with occasional 12-hour shifts, requiring an active Iowa medical license and board certification in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine with recent EM experience.
