Job Summary
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the ED, including intubation, central lines, and resuscitation. Supervise and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants while maintaining accurate documentation in Epic EMR. Participate in trauma and resuscitation management for a department with 30 beds and an average daily volume of 110 patients. Board certification in Emergency Medicine (ABMS/AOA) and active Georgia licensure are required, along with ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications. Temporary privileges are available with conditions. Coverage is from July 18, 2026, through ongoing dates at Piedmont Macon Medical Center within the SCP Health system.
Required Qualifications
- Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABMS/AOA)
- Active GA license
- DEA with GA address
- Active DEA
- Residency trained in Emergency Medicine from ACGME-accredited program
- Clinical activity logs past 2 years
- CME 20 per year
Desired Qualifications
- ACLS
- PALS
- ATLS (ATLS not required if ABEM)
