Job Summary
Provide clinical pharmaceutical care by preventing, detecting, and resolving medication-related problems while verifying patient orders for appropriateness and accuracy. Oversee pharmacy technicians and engage in teaching as part of the hospital's mission through precepting residents, students, and technicians. Enhance care quality by participating in performance improvement initiatives, conducting monthly unit inspections, and developing clinical guidelines. Demonstrate proficiency in distributive services by collaborating with coworkers to ensure safe, effective drug distribution and excellent customer service. Engage in professional self-development by completing competency requirements, attending seminars, and serving on institutional committees.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Pharmacy or Doctorate Pharmacy-Preferred
- RPH - Reg Pharmacist
- Minimum 2 years in Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician, intern and/or pharmacist Preferred

- Demonstrate active membership/service/leadership in professional organizations
