Job Summary
Conduct emergency medicine and critical care practice at a regional referral center hospital in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Manage care in a 36-room emergency department serving 60,000 annual patient encounters with a 15% admission rate, including ACS Level I or II Trauma Center duties. Perform care coordination and documentation for 1 hour at the end of each 9-hour shift. Maintain ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications. Work within a team supported by 24/7 hospitalists, intensivists, and full medical/surgical specialty backup, utilizing state-of-the-art imaging with 3 CTs, 2 MRIs, and 3 USs.
Required Qualifications
- experience in Emergency Medicine and/or Critical Care
- experience working in busy, high acuity emergency departments
- experience working in ACS Level I or II Trauma Centers
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- ATLS certification
