Emergency Medicine

Locum Emergency Medicine physician needed in TX with 90 days to credential and up to 1 year assignment. ABEM certification required with a minimum of 2 years' experience. Shifts run 6a-6p and 6p-6a; no call. Procedures include intubations, central line placement, ultrasound use, OB delivery, dislocation reductions, chest tube placement, trauma management, laceration repair, STEMI, and strokes. Typical census is about 80 patients per day; 1 EM physician per shift with 24-hour APP coverage. TX license (or in process) and DEA dedicated to locums required. Travel and lodging provided; referral bonus of $2,000 for referrals who work 160 hours. Competitive hourly pay with housing, car rental & gas, mileage if driving own car, parking, tolls, baggage fees, and tail malpractice coverage included.
