Emergency Department staffing for NP/PA in a 25-bed ED at a 145-bed community hospital in Northeast Alabama near Birmingham & Chattanooga. Independent Contractor (1099) with compensation at $90/hr. EPIC EMR and M-Modal for dictation. Shifts include 12-hour physician shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a) and 12-hour APP shifts (8a-8p & 1p-1a). Requires Alabama license (or ability to obtain) and BE/BC NP or PA with at least 2 years ER experience. Coverage includes hospitalist 24/7 and specialty support (inpatient psychiatry, general surgery, cardiology with cath, GI, nephrology, orthopedics, neurology).
