Job Summary
Emergency Medicine - NP/PA role supporting the Emergency Department leadership in providing high-quality patient care. Primary responsibilities include performing complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in emergency medical problems, documenting findings, coordinating laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures, explaining procedures and preparation to patients, delivering patient care under indirect physician supervision, monitoring patient progress and adjusting care as needed, planning and coordinating work for the physician's health team, participating in clinical research and education of students, residents and interns, and ensuring complete and accurate documentation in the medical record. The position emphasizes maintaining up-to-date knowledge of department and hospital policies, providing age-appropriate care, and contributing to quality improvements and education within a fast-paced, long-hour environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- PA Licensure
