Job Summary
Conduct 12-month Emergency Medicine Fellowship training across 13 four-week rotations in the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, Trauma, and Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Complete specialized courses in ATLS, Point-of-Care Ultrasound, and The Difficult Airway. Provide medical services to patients in a state-of-the-art 198-bed facility and freestanding emergency department serving approximately 43,000 annual visits. Maintain BLS/ACLS/PALS certification and work under supervision by experienced physicians. Submit required documents including a CV, Personal Interest Statement, and three letters of recommendation by the deadline.
Required Qualifications
- Must have, or will be, graduated from an accredited allopathic or osteopathic family medicine residency program
- ABFM/AOBFP or ABIM/AOBIM certification or eligibility
- Must be eligible for a Maine license and DEA certificate
- Must have BLS/ACLS/PALS certification
- Must be eligible for a Maine license and DEA certificate
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
