Job Summary
Emergency Medicine Consultant role in Regional North Queensland. Permanent full-time and/or part-time positions available in a 200+ bed regional hospital with trauma services and comprehensive acute care. Responsibilities include managing a broad case mix with pediatrics (approx. 25%), significant trauma caseload, providing clinical services within the Clinical Services Capability Framework, supporting satellite hospitals via Telehealth and in-person, contributing to innovative pre-hospital care models (including HITH and GEDI), participating in development of a new Emergency Department, flexible rostering, potential involvement with Regional Aeromedical Retrieval Service, postgraduate education/training including ACEM fellowship, and supervising junior medical staff and students. Competitive remuneration up to $587,432 p.a. plus benefits and on-call allowances. Relocation not specified. - Specialist qualifications in Emergency Medicine (FACEM or equivalent)
