Job Summary
Provide expert emergency care to patients across a broad range of conditions, including initial assessments, urgent treatment, and critical care. Offer telehealth support and advice to remote locations while working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. Participate in the 1:3 Standby On-Call roster and manage diverse clinical presentations outside of ordinary hours. Requires unconditional registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia, a C-Class Motor Vehicle Licence, and experience handling varied cases. Competitive remuneration up to $725,456 per annum plus allowances, with 10-hour shifts on an 8 on/6 off roster.
Required Qualifications
- A relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences
- Unconditional registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia
- Strong clinical experience in emergency medicine, with the ability to handle diverse and critical cases
- The ability to work outside of 'ordinary hours,' typically 10-hour shifts on an 8 on / 6 off roster (part-time options are available)
- A C-Class Motor Vehicle Licence
- Unconditional registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Experience in emergency medicine, with the ability to work flexibly and manage varied clinical presentations
- Immunisation/vaccination
