Job Summary
Oversee complete administrative, operational, and clinical oversight of the Emergency Department, collaborating with service line leadership on recruiting, finance, and business development. Lead dyadic leadership formats within a facility union environment, leveraging familiarity with Queens and cultural competence to build community relationships across diverse backgrounds. Drive strategic vision for ED growth, including navigating construction projects, design principles, and change management. Manage a high-volume facility with 60,000+ annual visits, overseeing an award-winning stroke program, sepsis metrics, and a geriatric ED accredited by ACEP. Support GME programs for internal medicine and podiatry residencies while coordinating direct admissions from the ED to palliative care.
