Job Summary
Obtain historical and physical data on patients; interpret findings to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures; assist in management of treatment plans while providing technical assistance and assuring quality patient care. Maintain positive relationships with patients, family members, visitors, and fellow employees. Practice under the supervision and guidance of a physician. The role requires eight-hour shifts with physical demands including lifting patients and equipment, and effective communication skills. Lexington Clinic is an equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training which will probably be indicated by graduation from an accredited program of physician assistant studies
- Physician Assistant certification
- current Kentucky State Board of Medical licensure
- graduation from an school of nursing
- Advanced RN Practitioner registration
- current Kentucky State Board of Nursing licensure
- ability to move
