Job Summary
Assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment. Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality. Operate an ambulance in compliance with company safety policies and traffic laws. Collaborate professionally with allied health personnel and fellow EMTs. Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients. Utilize communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools as required. This role involves responding to both emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance. EMTs must be at least 18 years old, hold a state driver's license, and possess current EMT, CPR/BLS, and physical ability test certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Driver's License
- State EMT certification
- CPR/BLS certification
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT)
Desired Qualifications
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
