Job Summary
Provides Advanced Life Support, initial assessment, treatment and transportation of ill or injured persons on emergent and non-emergent calls in accordance with the Saskatchewan Ambulance Act and Regulations, Emergency Health Services ALS/BL S Protocols, and organization policies. Preference for HSAS members per SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement. Works part-time with a 0.67 FTE in Lampman, SK, performing EMS duties across day, night, evening, and weekend shifts. Must hold PCP/EMT certification and ITLS, plus a valid Class 4 license; responsibilities include responding to calls, delivering ALS, patient assessment, treatment, and transport in line with protocol and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP)
- International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS)
- Registered Emergency Medical Technician/Primary Care Paramedic (EMT/PCP)
- Valid Class 4 driver''s license
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
