Job Summary
Deliver advanced emergency medical care as the Paramedic on EMS calls, assess calls to determine best course of action, operate medical equipment including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction, communicate with patients and families, assume Paramedic team-leader responsibilities as needed, and drive the ambulance on 911 responses while collaborating with allied health and public safety personnel.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Oregon State Paramedic License
- State Driver’s License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS
- ICS 100, 200, 700, 800
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
