Job Summary
Lead EMT Instructor for part-time evenings in Fairfield, CA, responsible for guiding students through the EMT scope of practice, supporting performance and progress, and modeling professional values. Provide instruction and mentorship to aspiring healthcare professionals; manage student development, use of EMS training equipment, and maintain an organized, tech-capable classroom environment. Schedule includes weekday evenings with potential involvement in 8am–5pm sessions. Compensation between $30 and $34 per hour, with potential bonuses and opportunities for advancement under CALRegional’s growth trajectory.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as an EMT, paramedic, or RN
- 3+ years of experience training and/or supervisory experience preferred
- Current certificate/license to practice as a Paramedic or EMT in California
- Understanding of EMS training equipment
