Job Summary
Respond to 111 calls and provide high-level clinical care to patients across Aotearoa while working a 4 x 4 relief roster averaging 42 hours. Collaborate with both paid and volunteer staff to support community health, wellbeing, and education initiatives. Maintain excellent operational performance, driving records, and adherence to core values including Mahi Tika, Tū Tahi, and Whakaaro Nui. Complete pre-employment checks including physical assessment, psychometric testing, police vetting, and health clearance. Required Qualifications
- A current St John Authority to Practice at EMT level
- Excellent operational and clinical performance to date
- Excellent driving record
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus

- The ability to work under pressure
- Evidence of CCE
- Must meet Hato Hone St John Medical Standards for Driving
