Job Summary
Provide preventative and emergency medical care to injured or ill employees and manage worker's compensation claims and investigations. Complete probable cause or post-accident assessments, prepare documentation, and maintain records while ensuring compliance with OSHA and state protocols. Lead emergency medical teams on the production floor when called and assist with incident investigations. Maintain confidentiality and function within defined medical care scopes. Work flexible schedules including Saturdays and occasional overtime, with no benefits provided. Starting pay is $22.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Current and active Indiana EMT Certification
- Minimum of 1 years' experience as a Certified EMT
- Ability to work in a team-based environment
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Must have good computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in extreme hot, cold, wet, humid, and odorous environments
- Commitment to follow safety policies and practices
- Ability to work well with people at all levels
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with worker's compensation cases, in an industrial environment preferred
