Job Summary
Assess and manage medical, trauma, and environmental emergencies under the supervision of staff nurses or physicians. Assist with patient care based on individual needs and maintain a safe environment within the direction of the ED Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse. Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certificates upon hire and throughout employment. This role is available for evening shifts at Paradise Valley Hospital, a 291-bed acute care facility serving San Diego County.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Basic EMT Training
- E.R. experience
- Current BLS certificate
- Current ACLS certificate
- Current PALS certificate
- Certified/Licensed EMT by the state certifying agency/entity
