Job Summary
Assess and manage medical, trauma, and environmental emergencies under the supervision of staff nurses or physicians. Assist with patient care based on individual needs and maintain a safe environment per the direction of the ED Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse. Requires current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certificates, plus state EMT licensure. This per diem night shift role is available at Montclair Hospital Medical Center, a 106-bed acute care facility recognized for its emergency care excellence.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Basic EMT Training
- E.R. experience
- Current BLS certificate
- Current ACLS certificate
- Current PALS certificate
- Certified/Licensed EMT by the state certifying agency/entity
