Job Summary
Escort patients to the procedure room and onto the procedure table, attach or remove leads and monitors, and transport patients between procedure and recovery rooms. Assist the clinical team with pre- and post-operative care for office-based surgical clients in the greater Chicago-land area. This role requires current EMT or medical assistant certification, BLS certification, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds without limitations. The position is part-time (2-3 days/week) transitioning to full-time starting August 1, with an FTE range of .4-.8. Join AAC Southwest's mobile anesthesia practice, which provides comprehensive peri-operative solutions directly at physician offices.
Required Qualifications
- Current EMT certification or current medical assistant certification
- Energetic, personable, and focused on providing superior customer service to our patients and our clients
- Current BLS certification
- Responsible and reliable; willing to travel to clients in the greater Chicago-land area
- A team player that is open to learning and taking on new challenges
- Able to list up to 60 pounds without limitations
