Job Summary
Assists in providing direct, and indirect patient care under supervision of appropriate personnel (e.g., RNs and providers) and supports care planning within the EMT scope. Functions as a clinical resource for students, orientation participants, and volunteers; performs equipment sterilization and maintenance; supports emergency response and data communication; participates in ongoing education to enhance capabilities. This role requires EMT certification, Oregon EMT license, BLS/CPR, NAEMT PHTLS within 6 months, EVOC, and valid driver’s license, with day-shift, full-time commitment in Tillamook, OR.
Required Qualifications
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification: Required
- CPR or BLS Certification: Required
- Valid Oregon EMT License: Required
- AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or equivalent: Required
- NAEMT PHTLS or equivalent within 6 months: Required
- EVOC/EVOS or equivalent: Required
- EMT or National Emergency Medical Tech (NEMT): Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
- Driver's License: Required
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required
