Job Summary
Conduct pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact until patient care is relinquished, completing electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the specified timeframe. Perform daily base checks including narcotic counts, maintain competency through ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences, and attend pre-mission briefings and debriefings. Assist with pre-mission liftoff checklists and pilot assistance for radio, navigational, and visual observation activities while complying with safety standards. Fill open or vacant shifts within the assigned area as deemed appropriate by the Regional Director. Requires current EMT-P license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and trauma certification, with a Flight Paramedic-Certified credential required within 24 months. Starting pay is $21.34 hourly plus a $4.16 hourly area stipend modification in Anadarko, OK.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a 911 or critical care setting
- Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NRP certification
- Trauma certification
- Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) certification within 24 months from date of hire
- NREMT-P certification in assigned area
Desired Qualifications
- Prior flight experience
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS
