Job Summary
The EMR drives to scenes to provide initial emergency care, performs patient assessments, delivers basic life support (airway management, ventilation, CPR, AED), and transports patients to appropriate facilities. Responsibilities include handling bleeding control, treating shock, bandaging wounds, immobilizing injuries, coordinating with dispatch for additional help or special rescue, and maintaining the ambulance (cleaning, sterilizing, restocking). Must hold CPR and Minnesota EMR certification and a Minnesota driver’s license; successful completion of pre-employment health screening is required; flexibility to respond to calls on a casual/as-needed basis.
Required Qualifications
- CPR, Current Minnesota EMR certification
