Job Summary
Advises clients on IA/Housing policy considerations and provides technical assistance on IA housing policies; supports development and management of temporary housing strategies (group sites, hotels, tents, and temporary mobile homes) in accordance with Stafford Act/FEMA guidelines; builds strong client relationships and serves as a hands-on program lead; coordinates with external partners and government agencies to leverage housing and emergency lodging resources aligned with client priorities and goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- At least three (3) years of professional experience in emergency management
- Proven knowledge and understanding of FEMA IA and housing policies as dictated in Sections 403, 408, and 428 of the Stafford Act, the IA Program and Policy Guide (IAPPG), and National Disaster Recovery Framework (NDRF)
- Prior experience in coordinating and managing temporary housing strategy (preferred)
