Job Summary
Licensed Veterinary Technician with WA LVT credential sought for Emergency & ICU role at a 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital. Responsibilities include triage and assessment of incoming emergency patients, nursing care and continuous monitoring of critically ill and hospitalized patients, administering medications and fluids, assisting with emergency procedures, diagnostics, anesthesia and sedation, lab testing, radiology support, and accurate record-keeping. Collaboration with ER doctors and specialists, client communication, and maintaining a organized treatment environment are essential. Compensation starts at $30–40+/hr for LVT with additional VTS and differential pay; relocation assistance available; overnight schedule on Overnight | Saturday - Tuesday 9pm–8am; opportunities for continuing education and CE allowances.
Required Qualifications
- Active Washington State LVT license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- ER, ICU, or specialty experience preferred
- Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-acuity environment
- Willingness to train and grow in emergency and specialty medicine
