Job Summary
Emergency Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join AMCS Emergency & ICU team in Shoreline, WA. Provide triage, nursing care, and continuous monitoring for critically ill and hospitalized patients; administer medications, fluid therapy, blood products, and advanced treatments; assist with emergency procedures, diagnostics, anesthesia, and sedation; perform lab work and radiology support; maintain accurate medical records; communicate clearly with clients; collaborate with ER doctors, specialists, and support staff to deliver efficient patient care; maintain a clean, stocked treatment environment; rotate shifts including nights. This role emphasizes high utilization of technicians, top-of-skill usage, and ongoing professional development; WSD LVT license or ability to obtain preferred; related CE and credentialing support offered.
Required Qualifications
- Active Washington State LVT license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- ER, ICU, or specialty experience preferred
- Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-acuity environment
- Interest in continued learning and professional development
- Willingness to training for emergency and specialty medicine
