Job Summary
Conduct 24/7 emergency veterinary care alongside board-certified specialists in a collaborative environment featuring ICU support and advanced diagnostics including ultrasound, digital radiography, in-house labs, and CT. Participate in daily case discussions, hands-on mentorship, and continuing education through specialized training courses like Global FAST Scan Ultrasound and wet labs. Collaborate with multi-specialty teams in surgery, internal medicine, oncology, anesthesia, and critical care while developing emergency medicine skills. Work rotating shifts including nights and weekends, maintaining a minimum average of 33 hours weekly. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, VMD or equivalent
- Active veterinary license in Tennessee (or ability to obtain – we cover state licensure transfer fees)
- Must work a minimum average of 33 hours per week to be considered full-time
