Job Summary
Respond to testing and emergency calls from push button phones in elevators, pools, and other areas. Answer a high volume of inbound calls from customers and vendors, addressing inquiries, providing accurate details, and documenting updates on emergency situations. Notify the call list of emergent and non-emergent situations, then dispatch the Elevator Company or appropriate authorities when necessary. Manage multiple software programs for call handling and team communication while communicating updates clearly and concisely. This 1st shift role (7:45am - 4:15pm) requires a high school diploma or GED, one year of customer service experience, and bilingual skills in English and Spanish. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-year customer service, call center, or dispatcher experience
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and 1st shift (7:45am - 4:15pm)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Extraordinary customer service skills that meet quality standards for services
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional active listening skills, giving full attention to what others are saying, asking questions as appropriate without interrupting
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Accurately type at least 35 wpm with an accuracy rate of 95% or better
- High rate of accuracy and attention to detail
- Dependable and organized
- Positive, competitive, and a determined attitude
