Job Summary
Provide compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Room, including taking blood samples, starting IVs and catheters, and utilizing state-of-the-art equipment. Communicate directly with providers, nurses, and families regarding patient care while recording information in the Electronic Medical Record. Respond to pages and codes as directed, and act as an observer for behavior health complaints. This part-time, 90% FTE evening shift requires weekend rotation between 11:00am and 3:30am. Required Qualifications
- Completion of EMT-Basic
- EMT – Basic license or National Registry of EMT
- CPR/BLS certification
- Part-time, 90% FTE
- evening shift
- weekend rotation
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of AEMT or Paramedic program
- Relevant experience in Emergency Departments, hospitals, or other healthcare entities to include EMS
- National Registry or Wisconsin Advanced Emergency Medical Technician or Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic license
- ACLS and PALS certification
