Assess and identify patient needs, implement medical plans, and monitor treatments while creating and reviewing care plans. Complete triage, perform patient assessments, and process provider orders with STAT items prioritized. Administer medications, collect lab specimens, and assist with patient care including wound care and activities of daily living. Monitor patient conditions, notify the manager of crises, and communicate updates to providers and families. Document charts, enter charges, perform safety checks, and orient new hires or nursing students.
