Emergency Dept. Nurse Residency - Mercy St. Louis

Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care in the Emergency Department, maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients. Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments. Ensure patient rights and confidentiality of patient information are maintained while performing duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards. Obtain or maintain a current RN license and BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Participate in the 16-week full-time residency program with three 12-hour shifts from 7pm to 7am.
