Job Summary
Emergency Department Trauma Physician Assistant provides ED trauma and ACS&CC coverage Monday-Friday 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM (mid-shift hours negotiable) as part of the ACS&CC team. Responsibilities include ED consultations, wound care and procedures, care for boarded ACS&CC patients, response to Level 3 traumas, coordinating discharges, timely EMR documentation, and collaboration with surgeons, APPs, residents and students. Requires Master’s degree from an accredited PA program, NY licensure, NCCPA certification, BLS/ACLS, ATLS (or willing to audit), and 1-2 years of surgical or inpatient care experience. Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current NYS licensure and national certification (NCCPA)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- ATLS certification or willingness to audit
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in surgical or inpatient care preferred
