Job Summary
Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) provides support to physicians and nursing staff in a fast-paced ED, performing basic clinical tasks such as EKGs, blood draws, wound care, specimen collection, vital signs, patient transport, room prep, and equipment stocking, while assisting in CPR and trauma response and maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Clinical experience in an acute care-nursing environment preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
