Emergency Department Technician

Assist with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients in the Emergency Department under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Maintain a safe environment and support the team while performing duties as an unlicensed non-certified assistive person. Requires current EMT Certification or CNA, valid BLS within 30 days of hire, and knowledge of medical terminology. Minimum six months experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office is preferred. This part-time night shift role is with Central Maine Healthcare, an integrated system serving 400,000 residents across Maine.
